The Best of Margot Robbie

It’s been a while since we’ve seen an Australian actress have her star rise so fast and shine so bright – yet here Margot Robbie is!

In just a short time, Margot has gone from appearing on Aussie TV screens to some of the biggest Hollywood flicks of the year. Not bad for the Queenslander!

Check out the best of what she’s done so far below!

Before the was rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest celebrities in the world, Margot played the humble Donna on Australia’s longest-running soap opera, Neighbours, for three years.

The Wolf of Wall Street

Margot’s big break really came when she was cast as Naomi Lapaglia in The Wolf of Wall Street. Not only did she get to star opposite Leonardo DiCaprio, but she got to play his wife! That’s a role we wouldn’t turn down.

Earlier this year, Margot popped up in the con-man thriller, Focus, co-starring with Will Smith. This helped to cement her as a serious contender for lead roles based on her talent, not just her good looks.

Suite Française

This French-titled film really proved how versatile Margot is, placing her back in the time of World War II. While her character, Celine, was not the main focus of the flick, she really made the role shine.

Z for Zachariah

Coming out in January is this sci-fi themed love triangle drama. Also featuring Chiwetel Ejiofor and Chris Pine, Margot sure is quickly racking up some talented and handsome co-stars. Yes, we’re jealous.

That isn’t all – keep an eye out for these flicks, hitting cinema screens soon:

The Legend of Tarzan

Taking on the role of Jane, this live-action film based on the classic tale sees Margot paired with Alexander Skarsgard as Tarzan is called back to his former home in the jungle. Interesting stuff!

Suicide Squad

The movie all comic book fans have been waiting for is nearly here, with Margot already being commended for her role as the psychotic Harley Quinn in the footage we’ve seen so far. This could really be a career-changer!
